The US Passports & International Travel is expecting an increase in passport applications through 2018. If you plan on traveling international, submit your passport application well ahead of your planned travel dates. In 2007, the US experienced an unprecedented surge in passport applications, issuing over 18 million passports as a result of the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI). Nearly ten years later, those passports are beginning to expire, and the US Passport and International travel department have been experiencing increased demand for passport renewals.

In addition, all passports must be valid a minimum of 3-6 months to enter into international destinations plus have at least 2 free pages in the passports. You will need to renew your passport if you do not meet these requirements. NBCUniversal does not reimburse for employee’s passports nor renewal passports.
